What does Halal mean?
Halal means "holiday" in Arabic. And it's not just about food. Halal food is what respects Islamic law as defined in the Qur'an. The Islamic form of killing animals or poultry involves cutting the jugular vein with a sharp knife, thus minimizing stress for the animal. Animals must be alive and well at the time of sacrifice and all blood must be flushed out of the body. During this process, the Muslim will perform the initiation, known as the shahada.

How to buy our Halal meat?
Since meat is chilled perishable product, halal meat can only be bought from us in brick-and-mortar store on Americké námestie 1 in Bratislava. At the moment, it is not possible to order the meat in advance, but we are working on it :) We believe that in the near future it will be possible for you to order meat from us online with delivery.
